Community Partnerships – YWCA

Our team members are community leaders who participate in civic organizations like Rotary International and the Evanston Chamber of Commerce. Our employees also serve on the boards of organizations like Connections for the Homeless, the Evanston Soccer Association and Turning Point, among others.

The YWCA is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity. At the YWCA Evanston/North Shore, we carry out this mission by providing a wide range of programs and services to meet the needs of the unique and diverse communities we serve, including:

  • domestic violence services
  • flying fish aquatics
  • building healthy relationships
  • violence prevention programming for youth
  • young women’s leadership + economic empowerment
  • racial justice initiatives
